General angelina,my red barchetta

Hello! I noticed you inquired on the Fiat coupe brake calipers, Those particular ones would have been found on the very early non turbo coupe's and are the same as on the later Barchetta.

Depending on your B's age you will have the same, only the very early 95-98 B's had a smaller and different caliper.

Its certainly a little better but the coupe turbo brembo calipers are the ones to look out for and usually go for £120 upwards.

Thanks again kc3.when I go from driving a new fiat 500 then to the barchetta braking is always a shock the first time I touch them.I'm going to replace the pads for now.I've got a fiat friend coming over from Italy in may,he's going to give my car a good look over and he's bringing his diagnostic machine with him too.he's a fiat mechanic and is nuts about barchetta's.thanks again

Hi I'm still having trouble uploading photos on this thread, they are in members galleries but they are not in an album,I'm rubbish:D

Did anyone here go to the bristol show on Saturday?I went in my barchetta,it was a brilliant day due to the sunshine,I really was like a kid in a sweet shop.as soon as I figure out this photo thing I'll post some of the show.

Hi i very taken my rubber floor out today as it was wet under there when I checked and am in the process of taking the old soundproofing out.any ideas of where water could possibly be getting into the foot well?I haven't used the car in the wet but it was sitting outside for months when I first had it at the garage.I know water gets in through the roof seals at the sides of the body.

Yes I think that is where its getting in,I haven't tried to fix it yet,I'm still on the floor.but it will be done.also I'm about to buy a fiat wind stop,I was told it is the last type they made and I will need to drill holes in the rear bulkhead, anybody know of this?

Yes but not in the bulkhead. They need to be drilled in the matal piece where the seatbelts are attached.
It's the windscreen with the room to fit the subwoofer under

Yes thanks Bollie it also comes with a curved piece that fills the gap at the back also.thanks again.

Hmmmm??how are they applied?kc my SPARCO strut arrived today, thanks for the advice, the fitting is much better than the comp one.as for the rims I was thinking about the Italian flag rim sticker.

Found a few guides and brands from Youtube.

I,d imagine the ones that clip behind the tires rather than the stick on are better but its the look and red color combination on the black rim that would set the wheels off on your B. Just my opinion though! :p (y)

Kc3 did you have to drill bigger holes at the header tank bolt and fuse holder bolt when you fitted your sparco strut?
Thank you
