hello, i've been a lurker for a while before joining the forum and was wondering if anyone could give me some pointers.

My rear exhaust has fallen down because of the rubber hangers perishing and inspecting it has shown me that the whole thing is looking very unhappy with cracks etc so I want to replace it. Is this relatively easy?

2nd question, I found a couple of suppliers and wanted anyone's opinions on them;

Fiat Barchetta Centre & Tail Exhaust Pipe 01.9359 on ebay (can't put a URL in)

or

Online automotive

Thank you so much for any help you can give me!

Don't get the cheap one. A new exhaust costs about 180€ and with some new rubbers and a clamp it is relatively easy to change.

but you'll probably need to heat it and clean the inside bore to slide over the other easy.
I would advise a ramp for easy fitment

Can't discuss that fact. The car will be better off but your wallet won't :D
At least the exhaust will outlive the car

If you don't have stands and jacks to get the car up in the air, exhausts can be a major pain in the arse. I will tackle most jobs, but will also happily pay £20 for an exhaust specialist to fit a box I've driven in with, it just ain't worth the hassle!

That's what I decided and am glad when I saw the state of the old one - would have been impossible for me to cut the old silencer out with my tools. Cheers for the advice guys!
