Having just fixed all the mechanical bits, and booked in to fix air con and body next month, I am turning my intention to the slightly faded interior. Have agreed to do seats, exposed metal parts on doors and body coloured lower dash bit in tan leather. Would like to have hoops added as well but looking online there are a number of options - some with integrated windstop in perspex, some in mesh but the quality looks variable. Like the idea of a set with integrated perspex windstop but would appreciate any recommendations.

I just dismantled my B so as to colonise some interior parts and also working on a windstop for my bars/hoops.

The 60mm bars were from Germany and the more expensive ones but are good quality and very solid when fitted.
They are secured through the rear chassis as two separate hoops which makes them a little tricky and time consuming to fit ( rear plastics and fuel tank cover needs to be removed ) than the other bolt on top hoops but look original when fitted.

Ive just discovered I can have my windstop made, shaped and tinted in tempered glass, so will be working on that soon. :D

Heres some pics of them and how they fit.
