I am going to sound like a :tosser: but that is a Supercharger.

The difference is the supercharger is driven from the crankshaft pulley as opposed to utilising exhaust gases to spool a turbine.

you are right... that's compressor, now i see belt... my bad.

Lol, don't worry. Have you managed to dig up any new information on that B?

I would really like to know what Supercharger it's using and if it needed any cylinder head work such as decompression etc?

Thanks F4ust.

Note; Quite interesting that the mounting bracket for the Rotrex compressor is where the air conditioning pump would be. I would imagine that would allow you to use a stock ancillary belt...

Just found this;

Engine: Fiat Punto 1.8 HGT

Standard power: 130 bhp

Compressor power: 185 bhp

Model number: C30-64

http://www.jam-sport.co.uk/rotrex.asp

C30/64 £1420+vat
The C30/64 Charger unit is for smaller capacity car engines, its power output is 100-280bhp with 0.26KG/S flow and a max impeller speed of 120,000RPM. Each kit contains a charger, magnetic oil filter, piping and clips, 1LTR of traction lube/coolant, Mocal oil cooler and a high grade alloy oil tank.

if i understod (Italian) right... whole modification cost about 5000€...
exhaust "branch" 260€, pistons 600€, Centrifugal Compressor with Control Unit 3500-3900 euro... i will know more later, i send him message.

correction: he spend about 4000€
Rotrex compressos, intecooler circuit to cool the oil and the remap of the Ecu, inox supersprint collectors, CDS, metallic catalizator and exhaust by CTSS... torque is 240Ns and over 200HP!!!

he did not change pistons (compressing rate is different than turbo), did not change gear box or clutch.

i think that's :worship::worship: but 4000€... hm.hm...

That kit looks like the Italtecnica kit, If it is i've got some graphs they sent me showing the power with the 2 diffrent pulleys available.

You don't need to modify the exhaust for it to work so you could get away with; pipework, intercooler, the compressor and a remap.

Hi Guys!!!

That is my car!:D So I spent about 4.000 Euro and they change on my car only the fuel iniectors with 4 more powerful. Then they installed the Rotrex compressor, the intercooler and the mapped the ECU.
Now the car has 240Nm of torque and about 200Hp...next week I'll tune the car more....

- Q2 Differential
- A bigger Pulley for the Rotrex
- Sportsbar by Eibach
- Change the lambda-sond because doesn't work

Now I'm looking also to change the collectors of aspiration with a Novitec model, that are bigger than the original.

My car before mount the Rotrex compressor I put some things like:

- Collectors by Supersprint
- Metallic catalyzator
- Exhaust by CTSS
- Bmc CDA air filter

Bye bye

ps the car now is really fast

Shame there aren't any companies nearer to me. Do they sell the kit?
Is the Q2 Differential the same as the Alfa Q2?

Yeah....probably they sell it....while the Q2 differential is the same as Alfa Q2...:D

They will send the kit here, the trouble is the euro's too strong at the moment.
