While in a stereo fitters garage last week planning a new install, i noticed he also fits rear parking sensors.

I will be adding this to my list of mods as i find that judging the B's rear can be quite daunting. You feel that your close when your not and when you do go closer you touch.

He can fit 4 sensors into the rear bumper, spray them to match and at a cost of 180euros .

I think i need some of those on the front bumper.. there is a certain wall that keeps moving and scratching my bumper!!! Thankfully it hasnt been broken yet..

It would definately be useful when it's dark and raining. The combination of not being able to see through the rear screen and the crappy reversing light make reversing in the dark a bit of a lottery.

Should be fairly easy to fit yourself though. Lots of kits available.

Good news, found an old friend today. He happens to be into car electrical diagnostics, asked about the parking sensors and he can do them for 150euros fitted, and their italian so will be getting them done shortly.

You havent seen the way the Cypriots park, The other day, luckily i was in my fathers double cab truck and not the B, I had two cars literately stuck under my bumber and this was in a car park.

Theses are so cheap on E-Bay. Buy the wireless ones. Wire the 4 sensors to the reverse light and then click the reciever into the lighter socket. 30mins work and your done.

I am with you on that one ROBOT, from what I have seen of KC's driving he usually 'parks it like he stole it' anyway!!!
