Value your B

Hi all,

If you had to put a price and value to your beloved B , what price would that B.

It seems strange that the B advertised sometimes varies so much.

Re: Value your B

Around 13 000 GBP for my barchetta here in Norway. She was out for sale a few weeks ago, got some calls, but I changed my mind. No clue what she's worth in Britain. Divided by four maybe? Hehe..

Re: Value your B

Funnily enough just got back in from trawling garages, my B was purchased as a second (toy) car, unfortunately due to employment changes it has now been forced into the role of a daily commute car (140 mile round trip) it's doing it no good at all and the pragmatic solution is to change it for a new economical hatchback.
Best offer for trade-in so far is £1000, worst £750. This is for a 1998 with 115k kms on the clock, full history, leather, alloys, new tyres, hard-top etc.
I'm not stupid (or desparate) enough to accept that and know I could probably get £500 for the hard-top alone. I suspect what they mean is that they don't want a part exchange. So the options are to just buy another car anyway and either try to find somewhere to store the B or sell it privately.
Why do I always end up with the car that I want when it is impractical to keep it?

Ricky, I saw your Barchetta at Goodwood and if you were to sell it for £4K you will live to regret it. Hell, what can you get for £4K now, a worn out Focus? Come to your senses man!!! And I thought you Scots were canny!

The Barchetta is a hugely under recognised and underrated car in the UK

The fact that Lanciamans car has not been snapped up is prime evidence of this fact.

Re: Value your B

I would like 5k for mine with all the mods on her, I have paperwork for a load more then that I can tell you heheh. The only issue is she will never be up for sale at my B is worth way more to me then such a little amount of cash.

Re: Value your B

2004 - 26,000mls - FSH etc, etc,

Paid 6k for mine in the UK and it would have cost 11-12,000 euros over here, so the moral of the story is...........

........buy your car in the UK and sell it in Europe
