something about tires and speed....

hey everyone here's something (I think) not disgussed before here. the type of tire we each have on our cars, especially on the Barchettas. every car has a type of tire fitted in the factory which after width and depth and diameter specifications graved on it it has a letter which indicates the maximum speed supported by the tires. here's the official list with the letter and the corresponded max speed supported:

T 190 km/h
U 200 km/h
H 210 km/h
V 240 km/h
W 270 km/h
Y 300 km/h
VR > race special, 250 km/h
ZR > race special, unlimited


after looking this up I rushed to the garage yesterday to find ZR on my 17" zenders with Falken tires. what about you guys?

Nah, I know that unless I am being towed by a Veyron there is little chance of me needing higher rated tyres! I think I have V's on at the moment..............

You pay more for ZR tyres than the V equivilant which should be more than adequate for any B except maybe for the wild thing....
