Swaping reverse/fog lights round !!

Just importing my barchetta from UK to Spain. The spanish ITV centre tells me the reverse lights and fog lights must be on the other side..fair enough. Does anyone know if they can be swapped over easlily they appear the same shape so I would think it is very possible to swap over and invert them. Any thoughts ?????

Yes but you also need to swap the wiring

I am replying to my own post.. but for information this is an easy job, well kind of. Simply run some new wire through from side to side and cut and connect the existing wires. The light units will swap ..simply turn them upside down and refit. If you need more detail email adam@angeltooth.com

If you look at a lot of the UK import cars their lamp covers are on upside down for just that reason!!

Just a thought (and I have not looked into this so don't know for sure), but would it not be easier to cut the wires near the fuse box and swap them there? It would save running new cable etc, should be possible without too much fuss but you would need to check to be sure...............
