Re: This isn't right...

Good philosophy in theory. However, the B won't tow, will be crap in the middle of scottish winter and aint so good at taking the other half and two dogs....

Re: This isn't right...

The B does work well in winter (at least if you have the same winter as here; rain, rain, rain and a few days of snow).

Can't you use the the Marea for towing, dogs, wife etc. and just ditch that big and ugly Jeep?

Re: This isn't right...

I had a Jeep for a couple of years and didn't spend much at all on it other than service items!! Maybe you have a bad one, in which case sell it and drive the b!!

Re: This isn't right...

It was fine until garage A busted the front diff, and it didnt start after garage B had replaced the front axle - most fuses blown. Jeep couldn't diagnose it after 2.5 hours at £85 an hour. Could be a short or a spiked ECU/PCM - which is £1000 new. Hence dead Jeep and not the cars fault in this case....

Re: This isn't right...

Ditch the Jeep and buy a Panda 4x4 then....they tow really well even a Barchetta. They are also next to nothing to run legal towing limit 2100kg including it's own 750Kg and the trailer.

Re: This isn't right...

I'd quite happily ditch the thing but too much money tied up in it just to bin it sadly.... Panda is cool btw
