Plug by radiator?

Don't know how to describe this, but as I was on my knees doing some cleaning to the B I noticed hanging beside the Rad a length of cable with a small plug on the end very similar to the the ones used for motor cycle exsesory sockets (heated jackets etc) and wondered what it was supposed to be connected to if anything?

Re: Plug by radiator?

Might be the plug that connects the fan if its the one to the left.

Check to see if your fan is cutting in.

Re: Plug by radiator?

If its the wire at the left top then that for the fan.

Hope this helps.

Re: Plug by radiator?

I don,t think that is what it is KC3 as it can only be seen from the bottom of the rad at the front, and has a short wire connecting it so it wont fit around the back and top to fit onto the fan ( I only have 1 you seem to have 2 by the way). If it was fitted to anything it would need to be in front of the rad and low down.

Re: Plug by radiator?

Is the cable in the middle or at one end of the rad?

Re: Plug by radiator?

If that was it Dave it would need to connect at the bottom of the rad, unlikely?

Re: Plug by radiator?

If you follow the wire back does it go into the front bumper or up to the left of the car inside the engine bay?
