Inner CV Boot Cover

Doing a visual inspection on car today and noticed inner Cv boot cover has seperated ,anyone changed one of these before and what is involved and best place to buy one

Found this pdf could it be as simple as undoing the driveshaft and tying it back or drop it to do the work

Robot i'm sure also covered this job and put up uite a lot of pics when he was messing with his driveshafts......

Did mine when I did the clutch and its a ****e of a job! FIAT actually managed to supply me with the wrong cover as well so I had to nip down to Halfrauds and get one of the aforementioned universal boot's, actually works very well and had I bought it before I took the bloody thing apart would have saved me a lot of time...........!

Hmmmm, depends if FIAT give you the correct parts or not!!! And given what a poo of a job it is to change I am not going to replace it until it fails again!
