Its seems that when Fiats manufactured it they m,ust have either drilled the lock holes in the wrong position or welded the side impact bar in the wrong place as they couldn't get a new lock to fit. A new one from Italy is on its way and fingers crossed it will be ok.

Re: KC3 Project Silver

Your not having a great time of it at the mo KC, I do hope your luck and life in gereral improves mate....BTW if that halfwitt was arrested for the damage to the door you can pass his details to the ins comp and get them to claim the access from him (if he ever get's charged). Whether or not he pays will not affect you geting the money back from the ins or not having to pay it in the first place. If he hasn't or there is no likely hood of a charge you could also via legal protection get them to arrange a civil suit as the burden of proof is much less than criminal court. Most companies provide legal protection at a small charge, if you have it they may decide that it's unecconomical to file a suit and just take the access off so there are a few avenues to shout at the ins comp about.

Re: KC3 Project Silver

Hi, Alan,

I know! things have gone horribly wrong, the breakup with the old witch, well actually thats the only good thing HAHA! but the overal cost of the breakup, damage and stress to each others lives and families was and is really not worth it. My work has slowed down too and then this other B,though it is fantastic has come at a wrong time.

I,ve had to folk out the £770 excess but the silver B is back in all her lovely shiny glory so for that. the garage did brake my electric mirror so i,m awaiting a new one but the paintwork is spot on. She still needs to go over to another company for a new hood and hope they pick her up today.

Dont think they have made any arrest as yet, but their is an officer on the case and has asked me to provide proof of the damage and costs so as to recover.

Hope you are feeling better and recovering. K

Re: KC3 Project Silver

Can't believe it's taken so long

Found out I'm def needing surgery, so will see....they also think there is a problem neck wise so another MRI is looming which will have to be sorted if there is anything there if not will go ahead with the surgery sometime in the next few months.

One consellation is that with this medication I was able to drive to Preston even though I was a wreck when I got there collapsing in a tired heap falling asleep in the waiting office. But at least I know the problem is fixable now

Alan, Health is more important than money and material crap, Think as i am getting older and another broken relationship i can appreciate this now and understand why my parents moved away from this bleeding country so many years ago. Think i will also sell up what i can, give up my wealth for a healthy less stressful life and move away to Cyprus.

Most probably keep the B though.

Do hope you feel better and recover real soon. regards, Kiry

KC, take a year out (out of the UK), re-assess your situation and what you want from life then go for it!

I was having this conversation with some friends last night, I would be gone like a shot for a better lifestyle tomorrow if I could convince the missus but she will not leave the UK!
