the followings is a rough guide to the models, specifications and changes since launch; it is not a definitive list and times of introduction are approxiamate.
Lido (1995-2001) Amalfi (2001-present)*:
most basic model, plastic steering wheel and gear knob. Early models and some European models no ABS.
UK specification and comfort pack:
UK speedometer (not a very reliable unit) odometer reads distance travelled in miles not kilometers.
ABS, leather wheel and gear knob
comfort pack = as above plus: elec. pack, leather interior,central locking,passenger airbag,front fog lights
Limited Edition (1998-1999):
Leather,ABS,Alloys,Elec. pack,floor mats,front foglights. Silver paintwork with red leather or Green with beige leather.
Riviera: (1999-2001)*
As limited edition but Blue car with black leather,Red with black,Yellow with black,Black metallic with red. Green deleted.
Front spoiler, subwoofer box,turbine alloys introduced
Switchable passenger airbag
Facelift interior
New induction manifold for improved emissions and torque
Milano: (2001-present) as Riviera plus*:
Black is not a metallic colour
Elisir and Jag blue replace Midnight blue
Electronic throttle "drive by wire" and new ECU
new badges (circular FIAT to front).
Naxos: ( June 2001-present)*:
Alloys (chrome effect)
Leather wheel and knob
Silver interior inserts
