Goodwood Breakfast Club 6th July.....?

I've registered too just in case, meeting up somewhere outside is a good idea at least we will arrive together and park together then.
Anybody local enough to know anywhere?

Pooh, Lima, Doc KC and I will all travel down country to Goodwood from the London direction, I was going to suggest meeting at the BP connect garage on the A31 at Farnham and driving down in convoy;

Doc, KC - to get this far I would suggest the M25, M3 and then the A331 which leads to the A31.......

Then take the A287 and A286 down to a village called Singleton where we would take a local road to Goodwood. Its a great little run down with lots of twisty country roads, need to be a bit careful as the Bib know petrolheads enjoy the roads so often have mobile cameras but as long as we behave we should be ok!

ZEM, Ricky - if you were prepared to drive up past Goodwood we could meet you in Singleton, there is a very sharp turn in the middle of the village with a handful of parking spaces - we could pick you up there?

er...what unearthly hour are you planning to get there? [I know it's an early start and I'm in the same county as Goodwood!]

I can travel on the A272 and then down the A286 down from Midhurst so Singleton will be fine for me.

BP garage in Farnham is fine by me, just let me know what time and I'll be there. Lets hope the weather is gonna to be better than this Sunday, there's gonna be a lot of wet people at VW !!

No, unfortunately we have a big customer event at work so will be working and not playing all of this weekend

Sounds good to me Lee, the meet at goodwood starts at 8.30am ,what time will i meet in singleton.

Need to canvas opinion on times but if its a decent weekend we will probably be best to get there for 08.30 just to make sure! I don't think there will be an issue with accommodating all of the cars that turn up but you never can tell!

Oh My Goodness! That is early! Still, at least we're guaranteed that they won't have run out of sausages if we get there at that time.

If there is no confirmed meeting time in singleton before friday Lee, I have your mob no from the members list will phone on sat to confirm. I shall leave Edinburgh midday on friday hoping to be able to drive all the way to Fareham with the roof down fingers crossed

Ricky952... don't you mean Farnham? Fareham is a bit further south. Having driven all the way from Edinburgh it's not THAT much further I grant you. But to save you a bit of petrol I just thought I'd highlight it.

I think Goodwood like you ro register so they have some idea how many people want breakfast. I will be attending in my blue B but only if the weather is reasonable.
