Any 'B's in France

Hi.I live in the Limousin,in the center of France. Are there any other 'B' owners on this forum who live in France? I have only seen one,and that was on a uk plate, parked near my hamlet. There are quite a few on ebay.fr,so they must be about here.I certainly get stares, and it seems to mystify most people as to what it is.A young lad even rode his bike up to it,looked at the badge, and rode off again. You wouldn't get that with an MX5.Paul

Saw this one in the South of France earlier this year - as you can see from the photo it attracted a lot of attention!!

Re: Any 'B's in France

Paul,

There is a French B. club : http://www.barchetta-club-france.com/
Their website has a forum section, but it's not the most active one on the internet. A quick search on google should give you results on the one or two interesting forums.

You have more chance to find B. in the North of France where sun is missing a big part of the year. In the South people want AC in their car.

a+

LRB :
I can think of 3 reasons why that B. attracted so much attention:
1. Obviously the driver is a gorgeous blond girl
2. It's a remote village, far from any civilization, no electricity, no car, and the locals have never seen a B. before.
3. The B. owners are from Paris (plate number finishing by 75), and a bull is waiting for a fight on the "plaza de torros" at the end of the street.

Re: Any 'B's in France

Hi,
I have a B -- 95 low mileage -- body good -- seats bit worn -- slowly tidying things up!
I live near Pau and have only seen one tatty red example -- here is a picture.
Let me know if you find anybody else or any spares!

Mike

LOL!!

Point 1 - 'fraid not, middle aged fat bloke who did not speak English!!

Point 2 - very close, Argeles-sur-mer, few miles South of Perpignan

Point 3 - could have been, was the season for it!!

We did not take the b, could not get 2 kids, luggage and wife, had to go in this...................

Languedoc Roussillon is a magic place, if only I could convince the missus and kids I would move there tomorrow!
