Logevity?

My barchetta is now 11+ years old with over 100,000 miles on the clock.

Amazingly it is still on the original clutch, alternator, starter motor, radiator and shock absorbers.

Had to renew the hood, exhaust twice (Fiat's own) and brake discs and the paintwork is now entering its "shabby bit chic" stage of life.

But overall fairly impressive for a relatively cheap roadster.

Anybody have similar experience?

Not in a B but I did have a BMW 318 a few years back that I sold with 236,000 miles on the original engine/gearbox.........

Re: Logevity?

10 years old and no serious problems. I'm just replacing the shocks, but I reckon that's not too bad.
