Not sure how to copy the link on here but it's auction number 131640637797.

Looks quite tidy, I'm in the market for another cinq and wondered if anyone recognised it or had viewed?

Thanks

Looks tidy in the pictures. I'd want to clarify the odometer reading as it is very low. Was it reset after engine change or a new set of clocks fitted etc and I'd want to know the history of the engine that was fitted and why the ECU had to be changed as it looks old and original.

Appreciate the reply, as usual it's the other end of the country from me.

He replied to my message as below :

Its not in bad condition it runs well it was converted before I got it I put the 1242 ecu on it to make the most of it you can have the original if you win it.
Not changed v5 you would never know engines look identical.

It's got a relatively short mot, I'm going to keep an eye on it but not going to bid silly on it.

Would be happy to pick up a standard car and mod it bit by bit but even picking up a cinq Sporting in Scotland seems hard.

Checked the mot history on gov.UK, the mileage seems genuine / in sync with the mot history.

It's also sorn according to this.

There was a Fiorino Explorer in Glasgow for sale that didn't make reserve. If you win the Cinquecento and I win the Fiorino it would make a sensible round trip. ;)

With no proof of originality for the donor engine I've passed the 1242 Cinquecento up, but I'm overcautious with these things. I also have a spare Punto 75 cam' in my shed if it's running a 60 one.

Sounds like a plan (y) I would be looking to swap for a 1.4 engine at some point so not too worried about the history, the car looks in decent condition which is my main concern.

Fingers crossed for both of us :slayer:
