yeah but i wasn't convinced by the advert for your car... And I am still kicking myself about not going to see it lol. Overall looks like a tidy clean car, the wheels look horrendous and it has a colin mcrae stick on the boot but overall it looks like a good car.

I was about to say...

"Who the feck puts an HGT engine in an Alfa 155?"

...but opened the advert to find a chav'd up Bravo that looks like it's been thrashed to Hell and back advertised for double what it could be worth in daylight. ;)

if you say so... body wise it looks clean without silly body mods and has some silly wheels. I'd hardly call it chavv'ed and there is little indication of whether mechanically its in good or bad shape really. If it is not rotten at all i reckon its worth £1k, my hgt is insured for considerably more than that... End of the day though, if you want a hgt bravo its not like you have loads to choose from!

Council estate LED Christmas lights.

Location Canvey Island, Essex and claims that the engine has "rally cam's".

What more evidence do you need?

£300 would be a punt, £700 would be a massive risk and £1,000 would be a mugging.

For £95 more here's a nice, one family owned HLX that's a little less power, similar torque and less weight...

Forgive me for being a little over critical here but Bravo HGT's by virtue of rarity will be classics soon and looking at that one the reason they end up so rare is obvious.

Poor thing.

Sadly to buy that car, find original wheels, replace the windows as that film stuff never comes off properly, remove all evidence of drug use from the interior (new seats, new carpet, new door cards, new headlining, new parcel shelf, new dash, new seatbelts, gear nob, steering wheel, all new plastic trim and soundproofing), rebuild the engine and gearbox makes it a £3,000+ car to consider.

If you want to buy, use it; and can live with the wheels and being stopped by the Police every time you go past an ANPR camera then offer £500 or walk. ;)

If you want to buy the car, strip out the ganja essence interior, put on a decent set of wheels and go rallying that would be a more fitting end. ;)

lol fair play mate, i think you are rather critical there though... I have removed tints off cars without issue. We don't know how good/bad the inside is tbf. The sticker - well you have me there but at least whoever stuck it there has somekind of interest in cars - so many cars i have bought have had at least one or two dodgy stickers and I have stuck a fair few on cars myself and I defo look after my cars. I have also had cars with tints and even my 'ghetto' van with limo black rear windows - never ever been pulled over by police and them be suspicious of any of that stuff going on, never had my car searched or anything.

I'm not really trying to say this car is defo a good car just that I don't think there is enough there to write it off as a basket case - and I kinda ignore the price on non-auction ebay adverts for cars like this. You go there and have a look and if you think its ok you wave a bit of money at them and see what happens.

Not that any of this matters really - just thought someone might wanna go take a look at it if they were close or something.

The trouble with the yellow HLX is it's in Gerard Cross. Depending on which "Gerrard" it could be up to ten miles away from where it's meant to be.

The Bravo GT was released in other markets around the worlds, it has a 1.8 eingine. As a result Many of the motor factor shops/websites list the 1.8 as a GT. If you can find them for sale there are Bravo_GT boot badges.

I remember seeing the silver HGT for sale in Wigan years ago, I personally didn't think about buying it seriously because of the tinted windows.

That one owner yellow 1.8 is a testament to well serviced 1.8's. I have seen plenty of 1.8s with 180,000+ miles on the clock.

That broom yellow HGT without a sunroof would be a great project for someone with the workspace.

Haha about the comments on the silver hgt the wheels truly are to a certain taste (not mine) and the tints are easily removed but worth a punt with getting rare now. Maybe it will be in my possession soon
