No way. How many Pandas have you got all together now?

Looking forward to updates on this. When are you collecting it?

Err I have just enough fingers on both hands to count them all

Trying to kill two birds with one stone so not arranged collection just yet.

I will be having a shuffle with the fleet but seeing as the new bungalow has a garage big enough for two, car port for another two and drive two more not to mention a pointless large patch of green stuff begging for 4x4 lawn ornamentation I shall be ok.

Fully comp insurance is around £45 a year on the classic policy and new taxing/sorn arrangements make it easy to lay up cars for a few months rest.

I shall be on a par with my neighbour down the street who has three caravans in his garden!:p

Next you'll be needing to change your name to Palio2 after Palio and his collection habbits :p

Out of interest what company you with for your mini fleet? I might give them a try come the next renewal.

No mine have a logic - maybe a logic only I can see, but anyway! :p

I'm not buying any more Panda's anyway...... That one scout and I rescued doesn't count, and anyway there's a plan for that one!

Peter James is the classic car collection champion of the insurers. Not everyone gets a good price, but if you do they are great. I like ringing and it's answered by a person straight away (no rubbish press this & that), they help you and understand (you're not passed around), they are not in Outer Mongolia (though Birmingham accents can get you!), and it costs about £35 each time I add a Panda (though that is an issue, as there's no good reason not to....). (y)

Yep I'm with Peter James which also has european breakdown cover included!

I use NFU for the newer cars who also have local offices real people and answer the phone instantly.
On the occasions I've had to claim the service and repairs have been first class.

I don't think I've ever had a quote from NFU - probably not tried them as I'm not a farmer! Might try them this year, if they are good.

You know those idiots you see on Road Wars type programmes who don't know who they are insured with - just realised that's me - I move the Abarth insurance every year to the lowest decent insurer & I honestly couldn't answer that question!

I've had a soft spot for the later cars ever since I drove Aston Martin's selecta to Vernons last year - they are very comfortable and have a fantastic interior! I may have found a home for the electric windows now :)

This will be the last impulse purchase for a while as I have to spend what's left of the inheritance on making the bungalow fit for 21st century living.

Just had a quote for kitchen/bathroom - was expecting 10-12k not 20!!!!

Corrected for you (y)

Ill start the list of thing you'll need.

a welder, an angle grinder, a lathe, a nice hydraulic press, a 2 poster car lift, a good compressor, tuning equipment, and many good sets of tools.
(sorry did i just give my dream work shop list?)

you have to prioritise these things.. sure the kitchen is dated.. but if it still works..

when it all comes down to it.. you have got to ask yourself the big question.
a kitchen that i already have sure looks a little old, but still works fine......... or a 2 poster car lift (y)

like i said.. priorities.. ;)

Why do I need a 2 poster lift when you have an inspection pit? ;)

The cars will have to share the garage with the washer, dryer, fridge freezer but it will have running water as well as power and light!

Oh and the car port is gonna be extended another 10 feet to keep three cars dry!

Dropping Fizzle off for cavity protection panda1408 and picking up JJU next Wednesday :D

Is a hydraulic press for putting creases in overalls?

I rang about this vehicle this morning, sounded a real genuine low mileage always garaged one lady owner etc etc......

So......

I bought it!!! :woot: :slayer::devil::D:D:D

nooooooooo
I liked that one very much!!!
Would you sell it ???

well sadly our car pit is no longer accessible. we have so much stuff in the garage its insane. most of it is camping gear.

yeah the hydraulic press will put a crease in your face if you get a finger under it :/
i managed to bend the vice handle trying to press those bottom ball joints out the hub carriers.
