I don't know, the basket case looking ones turn out to be covered with crap instead of just plain crap. My cup is half full with this one though.

Problem is that rarity doesn't always equate to value with Fiats of this age so someone would be restoring it for love not money but I hope it gets saved as these were really nice cars to drive.

Too true . Just because its rare and there are only a few left in the country out of nearly 1100 does not make it valuable . Problem with the stradas not many people either like them or want them . Its more of an aquired taste . Now if this was a Fiat 131 Sport the skys the limit and would be worth £6000 t £8500 as is . I would really like this car but i have my 131 Sport to finish by the summer . Also parts are very hard to get for the stradas and unless you do the work yourself its a money pit with no hope of any decent return if you decide to sell . I would say a good 105TC mk1 is worth anywhere bwtween £1000 and £2000 pounds but its a shame as they are a decent car alternative to the Astra GTE and the Ford XR3i .

You may be right for a good one, but the best 105TC I know of has just had a revaluation to £8000 for insurance purposes. Yes I know that insurance and market values can be a distance apart, but I'd pay £6k for it tomorrow (it's unlikely ever to be for sale).
