Wow, tbh that was a bargain price.

By remote mirrors he means you can adjust the mirrors from inside which is actually an added extra for a mk1 haha!! Only the 4x4 and panda 45S had them I think and obviously the VIP it seems!!

75 miles and 135min later and I can confirm that Kev will be very pleased. Certainly the best mk1 I've ever seen in the flesh, with Palio's being the other.

Yes that's what I want to know - Vernon and I had quite a conversation about it before deciding to buy. Seller then says it was sold earlier.

Just to be clear I have no issue with whoever bought it, assuming it was before the BIN was hit ("seller" said it was agreed at 2pm). I do have a big issue with someone listing a BIN on Ebay with no intention of selling it that way though

I saw it at 3:30pm, think it had only been up a couple of hours.

So you posted it at 3:30 and Gavin bought it at 4:31. The seller is pulling a fast one then saying he sold it at 2, not knowing Gavin and Mr Haze know each other. Such a horrible position for them both to be in. Seller is really out of order

Can I just clarify the situation & thank Kev for phoning me (even though he didn't need to).

The Panda was bought earlier today - all above board, no problems, nothing underhand. Seller is a complete twonk (or something a bit riper) and didn't bother to take the listing down. In the meantime, several of us had decided to buy the Panda - hit buy it now, and according to Ebay have also bought the Panda. :bang:

For those of you who wanted a fight, sorry not this time........

I still have a real issue with the seller who was a bit off & should have been a bit more pleasant at his mistake. I'll be taking it up with Ebay but doubt they will be interested.

The main thing is the car is in a good home!!

He's been punished enough, the car is worth far far more than what he wanted.

It was me doing my usual...(who has bought it?) building the tension. I have done this on other pandas that I have bought...this time it backfired. I was hoping to give the big hey it was me thing.

I spoke to the guy early on the phone and arranged for Jon to go there. He just didn't take it off eBay.

Good to speak to you Gavin and work out between us what exactly went on. Thanks again.

I was getting really angry about this but good to know the true story!
