Hello everyone,

Waving a fond farewell to my Panda 4x4 and thought I would give you all the heads up:

http://r.ebay.com/sUzfJS

Please email me at jamielockhartgiles [at] gmail [dot] com if you have any questions!

May I take this opportunity to thank you all for your help and advice over the years- I am sad to see the car go but am now living abroad...

Best wishes,

Jamie

Ha! I figure a Mongol Rallyer will go for it...

Care to make me an offer?

Your price does seem a little optimistic but as you're willing to take offers that's fair enough.
The problem there though is that your two pictures tell us nothing to help decide an offer price.

If I was you I would try and get another test put on it and then spend an evening giving it a good clean and polish and then sell it for the £750

But I get the impression you do not have easy access to the car at the moment so its probably not viable for you to do what i have suggested

£750 BIN with no mot? god loves a tryer

A tad harsh that! Worse have sold for similar price.

They're not allowed in it with new rules now. Get as many hi res pics up as possible and I think £750 should be achievable if your willing to wait for the right buyer.

TBH probably in excess of £750 with MOT and more pics

Well the current high bidder isn't a mongoler I can tell you that much! It'll be a cheap project/winter runaround for me if I win it, not to mention a trip down memory lane since I had a black push rod engined Panda "Dance" as my first car! (I was a member on here back then as well)

Where are the rusty patches? You've mentioned the usual door line but not where the other bits are.

There is a Sisley going for 3.3k at the moment, so a £750 BIN on this one isn't as bad as some!!!
(although I'll be honest not looking to pay anywhere near that amount or I would have hit the BIN button)

Bit like the Scarlet Pimpernel.
'They seek ruat here, they seek rust there, they seek rust everywhere.'

You name it you can find the dreaded bits all over the pesky things.
Rust on a Fiat is like fleas on a dog!

Fair point, ok in order to save you some time, which bits aren't rusty?

Seats, or the plastic bits is not a valid answer!

Although to be fair my old Panda wasn't too bad for rust, it had a line across the front of the bonnet, the drivers door was a little rusty (not too bad), and the passenger door skin was exactly 1/4 duct tape (got it through MOT's though), but the rest was ok.
