I've contacted three companies, one so far has got back to me. they want £920 to ship the stilo from me to durban (i randomly chose a city)

Just got a second quote for 650.

third company quoted £1050. probably PM is better if you want to go ahead.

Durban is the correct city. I am investigating the import cost in South Africa. That will determine if it will be cost effective to go ahead.

Those are good prices for shipping I remember shipping cloverleaf engines from the Alfa v6 a few years ago and that was only a pallet but was not cheap

And the dream came to a screaming stop. Regardless of any other cost, just to import it into South Africa will cost me more than the car. (Shipping cost, insurance, custom duties, ad valorem tax and value added tax.) Dammit, dammit, dammit.

technically no, the ebay deal fell through. I had interest from abroad. But in the end, my brother, who is also on the forum and owns a Stilo, bought them off me at brother rates.

What tyres were you running on those Alloy wheels?

I bought some 18's yesterday off a Alfa Mito which are running 215 40 ZR18. I'm just wondering if I can run these tyres with my Stilo?

they had 225/45 r18 on them (not the correct fitment, but a hell of a lot cheaper and within the 3% so the speedo is still accurate).

the mito tyres will fit fine, the actual fitment for the schui is 215/40 r18

Cheers. How come you sold these wheels? Most people search for years and years trying to get these Alloys. I gave up a long time ago. I was absolutely gutted when I saw your auction on Ebay for the Oz wheels.

I was out of the country. I couldn't believe my luck. Anyway, how did the 18's feel on your Stilo?
