| Ive done a blunder! | eBay - iPod MP3 cable for Bravo, Brava, Marea (3.5mm AUX) Got an audio cable I made for sale on ebay. Cheers ![]() ====== Listing ====== iPod MP3 cable for Bravo, Brava, Marea (3.5mm AUX) This cable will allow you to plug any audio device that uses a 3.5mm stereo jack into your Grundig AD182H2 or AD182H3 car stereo. Seen in Fiat Bravo, Brava, and Marea. So you could plug in an ipod, MP3 player and all sorts of other stuff. All you do is plug the cable into the cd changer connector block on the back of your car stereo, press the "SRC" until you stereo display changes to "AUX" (mode auxiliary input mode). This cable will not work with AD182 This cable will work with AD182H2 and AD182H3 The 3.5mm jack is gold plated I have used a 100-Ohm resistor to make the stereo change to AUX mode. The total cable length is 116CM. Cable was perfect length when fitted to my car. You can drop the cable down the left side of the dash board into the glove box or snugly fit it under the ashtray. I made this cable for my Fiat Bravo based on a web guide thinking I had an AD182H2 Stereo. In the end turned out I had a AD182H so the cable did not work for me. In the end I bought a Connects2 CTAFAIPOD007 iPod adapter from rudiemods on ebay This makes your stereo think an ipod is a CD changer you can skip tracks from the ipod controls or the stereo controls sound quality is amazing, and it charges your ipod also ipod goes off shortly after the stereo is turned off. Contact me if you want a copy of the webguide to make your own cable.

| Ive done a blunder! | Re: eBay - iPod MP3 cable for Bravo, Brava, Marea (3.5mm AUX) I found it on the web and saved it as an MHTML document. I cannot find the original link though. I could save it as a .pdf if you like.

| iPod MP3 cable for Bravo, Brava, Marea (3.5mm AUX) Just a qucik line to confirm the resistors are 15p from Maplins - I'm trying this surgery on my new (old) Brava this weekend and I'll report back the results. Thanks for the great guide and links!

| Re: eBay - iPod MP3 cable for Bravo, Brava, Marea (3.5mm AUX) Well, it appears not to work on the 185H that I bought from the scrappy. Of course what I could have done was turn the bloody thing over and make sure it was a 182H, LIKE YOU TOLD US TO! Lol. Any advice on a the right resistor pins on a 185 greatly appreciated. So now I have: 1. A working very nice 185H in light grey to match my dark grey dash... grrr. 2. A working 182H in dark grey with all the clips broken off, and the mounting points snapped by the last dork who tried to jam it in. 3. A set of clips for the 182H, extracted at the scrappies with much cursing, finger crushing and nail splitting. Nowhere to screw them to. 4. A din mounting plate that obviously held the stereo that the dork (see 2) had in the car previously. This also has no clips and won't stay in place, plus is cheap crap. So all in all, a good day. ![]() Nik
