Re: 100hp Salvage On Ebay

Considering what happened, the driver's seat is very clean! Also fortunate that the air bags didn't deploy which must reduce the cost of getting it back on the road

ps, I have the stereo and whoever buys that thinking it'll need what he says it does will get a huge wake up call lol

suspect the salvage yard gotthe car from someone / somewhere else and are guessing at what caused the damage. It does *look* quite a lot like driving under a truck - its not often a car lands on the front end of another car!

Yes that takes a certain type of 'special' to do that

Re: 100hp Salvage On Ebay

I saw this as well the other night, even if it was a completely different panda and it had gone under a truck.....surely its more cost effective to just buy a new one these days?!

Re: 100hp Salvage On Ebay

you can price much of it up on eper, I did, even then I wouldn't drive it again, theres a lot of damage beneath the panels, it does drive yes, but you have to keep the steering half a turn left to go straight on, then theres the fact the wheels are on a drift camber, and the bulkhead was crushed, the dash was snapped from it's mounts and also has stress marks all over it, the A pillar was considerably damaged from the sill of the peugeot, and the front equivalent of a slam panel was snapped from both head lights down, there are also no speakers in the car, as I had my componants back out of it (in a rude manor, so most of the door cards are a cosmetic fit)

Re: 100hp Salvage On Ebay

to be honest, the way i see it is bull. He's been very scant with the description and if he knew anything about cars (which he probably does being that he bought a salvage car) he would know that the car ISN'T economically repairable. and no pics of the 'real' damage. Could be considered fraud.
