130 Abarth seats (I think!)

Hi

I hope you don't mind me gatecrashing your forum, but I have taken some seats out of a Mini that I am exporting, and listed them on ebay - the item number is 260200949584 (as I can't post a url as a newbie!)

These are they:

I believe they originally come from an Abarth 130, and so thought it would be worthwhile alerting you to the auction in case anyone here might want them.

I don't know how rare these are, or indeed how valuable or otherwise. But the auction is no reserve, 99p start and so I will see where it goes.

I would, as someone obviously sympathetic to old cars, not like to sell them to 'Barry' to put in a Corsa or something if they could be of use in their rightful place.

Regards,

Colin.

Those are indeed Strada Abarth 130TC seats. They will also fit in a Cinq apparently!

They will fit in a cinq if you make up L-shaped brackets, I have a pair in my cinq!

Re: 130 Abarth seats (I think!)

I fitted them in my Cinq a fair few years ago now and the easiest way to fit them is to just buy OMP base mounts, available from Demon Tweeks or in true BBC fashion all other good OMP retailers, yes they are £30odd each, but TBH the seats practically bolt straight to the mounts and the mounts to the floor of a Cinq and pass mot's and I can testify stand up to a fair shunt after my Cinq was written off by a truck hitting it.

I can't find on site but they are in the Motorsport Catalogue.

They didn't stay at 99p for long!

I too have them in my cinq. Great seats, very comfy on long journies (even my dad with a bad back loves them).

Then, the question is, do they go in your new car or your old one!
