way beyond superficial its wrecked....

its been airbagged for a start so that would mean a new dashboard/ steering wheel/seatbelt pre-tensioner units and that front crash protection rail looks well bent = bent/compacted chassis legs... ANd why is there a round dent in the boot?

dent in boot where it has been pushed........agree its a little more than a days work there!

lol the cross member is supposed to be a straight bar right?

That car should probably be scrapped. If it was repaired and crashed again I wouldnt expect it to be anywhere near as safe as it used to be.

that cross member used to be curved outwards following the line of the bumper... Needless to say its FUBAR

imo thats an easy fix, but not cheap due to the availability of parts (or lack of it). if it was a mk1 focus i could fix it for £250, but fixing a GP means it would cost closer to £500 because you have to buy and paint new panels rather than fitting presprayed scrapyard ones.

its definately not scrapyard fodder because its worth decent money when fixed. it'll be back on the road soon.

went for a grand.

Insurance write offs/damamged cars should be scrapped.
It's ludicrous that cars with such damamge are allowed back on the road

The panels are only lightly damaged its the chassis thats slightly buckled lmao
