thats just silly, any thing that stops it starting will only be minor from a roll like broke wire. you could buy it use the bits you want and still get your money back selling the bits you dont need

surely best not to try start it, i wouldnt want to try start it after its been sat around without servicing it first, the oils probably got all moisture in it etc, deffo needs a service before trying to start it imo.

i have my garage now, if Sammi needs rid of it desperately i'll take it but a bit put off to take something that might result in scrap.

if you bought an engine off ebay it could have been "running before removal"
