CHEAP HOLIDAY - Haggerston Castle

Hey all, maybe this should be in the classifieds but my mam is desperate to hire the caravan out, the person who had it booked has cancelled

she usually charges £390 (haggerston charges £500+) but will take £295. as it is short notice (this saturday for 1 week)

the caravan is facing a lake in a cul-de-sac, near all the entertainment and stuff, it has 4 bed rooms, dvd player, big widescreen tv, all mod cons etc. it's a house on wheels basically

i dont have a weeks holiday left from work and i have no one to go with

you should go on an ff holiday an see how we leave the place after, before you offer a caravan to this lot

I can't believe how much they can rent them out for! I just paid £450 to rent a Gite in the South of France with 2 bedrooms, a private swimming pool, views across the Dordogne and mod cons such as a dishwasher, sky TV.....and a croquet lawn (lol). Even that was above the going rate to be honest.

There must be money to be made in caravans.

they cost £30k+ and £3k almost to keep on the site, it is the best in england though (5 star park)

But equally the place I stayed at would have cost a slight bit more than £30k and £3k to keep maintained BUT I guess a caravan has a 20 year life (or so?) whilst a house will probably increase in value. Don't get me wrong, I am not questioning your price, I am just amazed it's the going rate!
