Never met Stu, but he helped me loads through the forum. He was always quick to share his knowledge and experience to help other members.
A friendly, cheerful, helpful chap. Pretty much the essence of the forum.
Taken way too young. R.I.P. mate

First post here in over 5 years. Heard the news from an ex FF member/ moderator, who is equally shocked and saddened but no longer has an account to log on here to express his condolences.

I met Stu many times at FF gatherings and events back in the day (2005 - 2009). A top bloke in all respects, kept this forum going through thick and thin and kept the forum in line in the best possible way. A truly sad loss, a really nice guy taken from us way before his time.

My deepest sympathies to his family, friends and all that knew him.

RIP Stu.

For anyone wishing to contribute to this.I see no issue with them setting up a new account.this isn't the time for letting old squabbles create barriers. :)

Never had the pleasure of meeting Stu

However, his contributions to the forum speak volumes - my thoughts are with his family and friends! Hopefully they can take some comfort in knowing how well liked and respected he is across the Fiat World.

Drive in Peace Stu!!

Hear, hear.

I haven't been on the forum for ages, but I had to drop by to pay my respects. Although I never met him in person (never got to visit UK), he was an awesome guy to talk to here in FF... And his posts were, as someone already said, a must read, he truly was a fantastic person... RIP Stu, my condolences to his family and friends.

Like quite a few of the posters here I haven't been on FF for awhile but just spotted this on Facebook. This is such a surprise and is a frightful reminder of how cruel and short life can be.

RIP Stu, he was an amazing part of FF and I'm sure everyone will
agree that he had such a positive impact on the community and its members who knew him.

He will be sorely missed and my thoughts are with his family and friends in what must be the most horrendous of times.

We never met, but from the photographs posted on here, and his posts, he seems to have been one of the most valued contributors to this, one of the best motoring Forums I've come across*.

From the day I first joined he's been a constant, and while not necessarily believing in an afterlife, have a feeling he will continue to be so.

Oh, alright then, the best motoring Forum I've come across.

I, for one, will miss him.
