RIP Stu DemonD

I was deeply shocked and saddened by the news today. I too am an oldie who used to moderate along with Stu and other oldie members. Having known Stu since about 2003/4 I just want say thanks for the memories my friend (y)
We had some amazing weekenders back in the day with the original Fiat Forum Family (when we were tiny!!). I still miss those days and have been trying a few times to get a reunion back on the cards....we should do it folks....life is precious :(
I have many photos to sum up my memories....Can't seem to upload them here so will add them to the Facebook page x

Thanks DemonD....you made my 20s great ❤️

Thoughts to his family at this time, we met and shared a meal at Donny a few years ago along with the then Miss StevenRB45 and Dave and Mrs Dave. Can't claim to know him well but from what I saw of him top bloke and very shocked to hear of his passing.

R.I.P Stu. Haven't been on here for years but needed to pay my respects to a truly helpful guy. Thinking of your family and friends at this time xx

It's been a long time. I like many others have reappeared on here to pay my respects. I met Stu a couple of times off the forum. He helped me a lot and was a good friend when I needed one. We stayed as friends on FB rarely chatting but keeping a watching brief on each other. I feel like the world has lost a very good man today. Sleep tight Stu. X

Shocked to hear the news, saw him around at many events over the years and he was always a real keystone of this fantastic little community. RIP & my thoughts are with his family right now too. Sad times.

Duw, this is sad and unexpected...

Apart from being the guardian of the BBQ, the amount he put into all sides of FF was immense. He would always be the first one to welcome you at any event. He would still help with events even if he wasn't going.

It's very comforting to see that I'm not the only old guy who isn't a forum regular any more log in to pay their respects and I think that speak volumes of the man we've lost.

It looks like a few of us oldies are reappearing to pay our respects.
I knew Stu like most of us, through forums and the meets and shows. He was already friendly as happy to help with anything. I truly believe this forum wouldn't be where it is without him and the efforts he made to shows etc.
Couldn't believe it when I saw this on Facebook this morning.
RIP buddy

Stu was one of the first mods I ever met at an event. and it seems that he was for a lot of us.

He not only got me started with the forum almost 5 years ago, but he's been a hand in my professional life as well on a daily basis as my accountant. He's going to leave a big gap not only at out events but in a lot of peoples lives and hearts.

He was a lovely person and to hear about what has happened is extremely sad.

I know this has already been posted, but a Just Giving fundraising page has been setup in his memory, for the Cynthia Spencer Hospice a close charity to Stuart.

I met Stu for the first and sadly only time at Brooklands last year. He was a genuinely nice bloke who was as happy to chat to us newbs as he was to the regulars. From what I could see he worked hard to make sure we all had a great time. And we did.

RIP Stu :(

RIP Stuart.. haven't been on FF in a long time but wanted to show my respects as i'd spotted it on Facebook. Remember a trip to Mcdonalds at the alfa fiat show back in 2007/2008 (stanford or Red dot RR Day) when he had just got the panda 100hp..

very sad news

First post here in over 5 years. Heard the news from an ex FF member/ moderator, who is equally shocked and saddened but no longer has an account to log on here to express his condolences.

I met Stu many times at FF gatherings and events back in the day (2005 - 2009). A top bloke in all respects, kept this forum going through thick and thin and kept the forum in line in the best possible way. A truly sad loss, a really nice guy taken from us way before his time.

My deepest sympathies to his family, friends and all that knew him.

RIP Stu.
