We can fit you in as soon as Wednesday if you need it.
Then why say including VAT if you are not VAT registered I can reclaim VAT anyway, which is why I wanted the net price.

You need to be VAT regged to keep up the warranty, or so I believe.

I will come to you once I get to over 3 years old although let me get a quote first, with only 11 months to go and fact my car is modified, sod the warranty

I know, i just put it down to remove speculation that there may be extra to pay.

Ridiculous really, what that implies is that VAT registered garages are better than non VAT registered garages, even when equally qualified and using the same parts and service schedules. Ridiculous, but unfortunately true.

According to my own conversations with Fiat warranty , its not necessaryf or your service agent to be vat registered to maintain your warranty. The idea of stating that in the handbook is to stop people doing it intheir own back yard. The important thing is that you must get a receipt from the service agent with details of the service procedure carried out listed on it.

Ah ha!! a reminder!! i have been meaning to post...

Q Will my warranty be affected? A No Independent repairers CAN carry out normal maintenance and repair services during a vehicle’s warranty period without invalidating the warranty conditions provided that:
  • the service is carried out in accordance with the manufacturer’s servicing schedules and is recorded as such·
  • any parts used are of ‘appropriate quality’ and are recorded as such 2003 European Union legislation, ‘Block Exemption Regulations 1400/2002Regulation ’
that!!! Well then, there you have it.

Re: Fiat/Alfa Specialist in Mid Bucks...

You are joking? The so-called 'rush hour' can be a real PITA, both am and pm.

That said, every so often you hit the roads expecting the usual but find things flowing smoothly (albeit slowly) - and the copper getting her arm broke the other day really screwed the traffic.

Paul, I''ve got a major service due on the dobbie next month if you've got space, due MOT at same time if thats possible?.

Re: Fiat/Alfa Specialist in Mid Bucks...

Dear sir:

My name is Antonino Ramón Merenda, my adress is H. Yrigoyen 926, 5600, San Rafael, Mendoza, ARGENTINA; we have an electrical service garage, we do altenators, starters, etc, we have two scanners to make diagnostics and maintenance, and our service is open since 1958, was founded from my father and actually we own it.

First of all I beg your pardom because my english is not the best; now, I had to ask you if you could help me to resolve a problem we have with an Alfa Romeo 166 3.0 V6 1999, it has a current leakeage (leak ) so in two days the battery is discharged.

I arrive to the I.C.S. unit, and disconectted the last down black chip, the leakeage is over. I hear within the ICS unit noise that relate to the opening and closing of a relay, so i had disconected wait for a while seconds and reconected all the chips behind the unit, put again the code..... and the leakeage is ON again.

So I asked you if you can help us to resolve this problem. I apreciate your instructions.
Sincerely yours.

Ing. Antonino Ramón Merenda ®

Re: Fiat/Alfa Specialist in Mid Bucks...

Recommendation..to AforAlfa based in Aylesbury, Bucks.

I needed my Cambelt replacing on my Fiat Brava, and firstly rang round a few places in Milton Keynes and were getting quotes of £300+ just to replace the cambelt etc. I eventually found this guy, and rang him to ask for a quote he said £135 all in and noticed that he was a Specialist for Italian cars. So i proudly booked my fiat into him having quoted my VIN number so he could order in the correct parts, and today 3rd October I drove to his premises in Aylesbury and was greeted by him, he showed me the belt that was on my car and was duly due with slight cracking. I was shocked to see this and was relieved that it was getting replaced. He was a very friendly guy and took good care of my car. So this is a Big Recommendation if you need any work either big or small give this guy a try you wont look back... I won't I will be taking my car to him in the future. Also being a Specialist he can stamp your Service History book.

Thank you very much mate...
