Hello guys! Wanted to share this with you..

Have you ever wondered what a blue Punto EVO Abarth would look like ?

In Brazil we have an Abarth-like Punto version, called the T-Jet.

Last year it received the EVO ''face-lift'' including the Abarth body-kit and wheels.

It's a 4 door and it has a bit less power, so I guess it can't be called and Abarth.

The engine is the 1.4 16v T-Jet, without the MultiAir system. It develops 152hp (some say with our premium petrol it reaches 155hp). 0-100km/h takes 8,4 seconds with a maximum speed of 203 km/h (5-speed manual).

I've just bought a Maserati Blue one, which is a very rare colour. Still waiting for Fiat to deliver it, though.... When it arrives (probably by mid-August), I'll upload some photos !

It should look like this:

That's a lovely blue, wish this colour was sold in England, we have boring Black, White, Red n Grey colours for the Abarth. I'll love to see an ASBO Orange or pastal shades.

That looks really nice! The 135hp MultiAir sold here achieves the same 0-100kph or 0-60mph as this I believe.

The Maserati blue is stunning when kept clean, I love it :D

It's an interesting colour as it seems to change in different light conditions. Indoors or on a dark day it looks like the photos you have uploaded but in brilliant sunlight it looks light and really shiny. Almost looks like a different colour. I haven't seen such a remarkable difference in a single colour like this. I assume its the same paint code 899B?

Oh wow that looks amazing!! Why can't they do that in England!!

Hello and welcome :)

Nice color, nice version of Punto T-Jet.

It can't be an Abarth because it s more a 150 HP T-Jet (original 120 HP) : no Abarth/Brembo brakes, no 6 speed M32 gearbox, probably no suspension of Abrth, etc.
I imagine the difference in 152 to 155 BHP is only related to law/methods of mesurement.

In time of the Grande Punto, standard Abarth output was 155HP with the T-Jet too. Now it is 165/180HP with multiair engine.

Hi everybody,
I know it's an old post but I want to share some interesting facts about our Punto T-Jet. Recently, a local magazine took a Punto T-Jet to the dyno to check its output power and torque, and surprisingly it shows a total different picture.
They did two runs, with the air conditioner on/off, and they came with 157/167 HP, and 21/25 kgf.m. FIAT says 152 HP and 21 kgf.m, I don't know why!
These results makes me think they sell us the 165 HP engine under the hood.
I own one and it performes really well. Even with the 5-speed gearbox it does a nice job! You can challenge lots of cars on motorways!
Colors wise, we don't have the blue one available, only white (mine), black, red and yellow. The blue should be a "promotional event" color.
Looking at your pictures I suppose we have a higher suspension due to the horrible streets and roads available, but only 1/2 or 1" higher.
The same magazine takes a lot of cars to the Interlagos-Sao Paulo track just to see how they perform through those corners and how accelerate on the uphill main straight! The Punto didn't go really well there albeit its nice torque range. According to the test driver, the car has too much understeer and clocks almost the same as the Peugeot 208 Griffe 1.6 16 V, a much better balanced car, says the driver.
By the way, you can see those videos on their youtube channel "Fullpower TV". It's not Jeremy Clarkson on top gear show but they came from the streets tunning cars and rising performance adding or removing stuff. Check it out!

I know this is an old post but its the first time ive seen it. I do love that blue colour too its awesome. Abarth have some great colours but reserve them for top models. The Ferrari tribute model was available in Abu Dhabi blue and a stunning yellow. I would love to buy a car in a funky colour but as I have bought Fiats for the last 3 times I havent had the chance. I find it bizarre though that the car above has the Abarth claw alloys but no Abarth badges. In other words in makes sense for the alloys to have a claw design when linked with a scorpion. They just look odd with Fiat centre caps.

Hello and welcome here :)
Please open a topic in Members Motors and share some pics of your car, I'am sure it's lovely :yum:

For the engine, a dyno with 165HP of a 155 stated HP engine is quite standard. Turbo engines does always more than indicated.

If you want to know if you have a 155 TJet or 163 MultiAir, post pics of your engine with cover removed. On TJet you will see spaces for two cam pulleys, on MultiAir one only. And electrical connections to solenoids on intake side for this last one.

It can be more complicated than this, because Fiat can range these two engines between 135 and 180HP.

marcelozimmer, the Maserati Blue is available for buying and not only a promotional colour. I myself had a blue one ordered. It just happened that the same one in white, arrived earlier at the dealership. In Belo Horizonte I've seen at least two in this colour.

If you look at webmotors.com, you find some blue T-Jets for sale.

You're totally right. My bad.
