(G) Failure rate of Punto's & APE's

One of friends own's an 08 Plate Grande Punto & he said a few months ago one of his springs / shocks broke as he was driving.

I would like to know the failure rate on normal Punto's and APE's, what components tend to break the most inc any electrical problems.

To be fair most cars suffer snapping springs due to the cheap monkey metal used in springs and the roads been potholed messes ......

best place to check would be the Gp section stickies (known faults and issues) and the FAQ section which im trying to keep upto date)

also the guides section
