Hi guys, well, I took delivery of the painted (FIAT Broom Yellow) wing mirror covers and fitted them yesterday in about 5 minutes for both. Really pleased with them and the transformation it's made ?. Might see about the front and rear splitters now.....

Looking to change my mirror covers from yellow to gloss black.....

How do you remove the covers, do you need to remove the glass first?

Yes, you need to take out the glass in order to release the locking tabs on the covers.

See this thread for pictures of the mirror in pieces - if you're just changing the cover, all you'll need to do is pop out the glass.

You just work your fingers between the glass and the housing and prise it out - it's on a kind of ball & ring socket joint. A moderate amount of force is required - just as you think the glass will break, it pops neatly out. Have a lot of soft things on the ground nearby in case the glass slips out of your hands.

Thank you, excellent write up, all done without issue.

Has this ever happen. ??
Unfortunately not, i thought about it but that’s as far as it went. We bought a new Podium Blue 595 Turismo with them already painted ?

Are they better brakes then the normal non perforated brakes. ??
Drilled brake disks offer better heat displacement, sharper braking, better in the wet, no brake fade and these allow for an easy transition from 165bhp to around 200bhp without having to upgrade the brakes...definitely better all round ?

200 hp will not happen with the OEM airbox, it will choke out at around 180+ hp.
It need modification to get more air in, something along these lines.
Although it think 4 big holes is a bit overdone IMHO, more fan of more smaller holes.
