Long story short, the dealer lost the service book for my car, found one on ebay, the outer looks exactly like my other books but the inside looks photocopied and its got staples in the centrefold. Seller says he's got 3 and they're all the same. Can someone let me know if their service history book is stapled or stuck in please?

Mine is "stuck in", i.e. it's bound like a normal book.

Sorry to hear your dealer lost your service log book, that's shocking!
This is why I religiously scan and archive my log book after every service, including the receipts and itemised list of work done.

I bought a few on eBay, they are identical to the actual real one. only £3.99
