After years of wondering whether I should or shouldn't join the winter tyre converts, I have taken the plunge.

I had my original 16" spoked wheels off my last 500 sat around the side of the house, and my local tyre man has done a deal on some Pirelli Sottozero's. I am just awaiting them to arrive and be fitted.

The wheels were powder coated black some time ago as the factory finish lacquer had deteriorated, and are mint, so it will be interesting to see how they look and perform. (I sold the 500 with some 16" Abarth alloys I picked up from an Esseesse conversion)
