Are 900t and 900e basically the same in terms of panels etc?
Wanting some door repair panels and rear corner panels from Italy but advertised for a t and mine is a e

Most of the 850t and 900t/e panels are the same. Check ebay (if you haven't already) there are quite a few cropping up at the moment (typical when I don't need any now).
You could also try Ricambio (http://www.ricambio.co.uk) as they tend to have a small supply and by the time that you have allowed for postage can be about the same as shipping in from Italy.

I was looking at these :

The door repair panels look identical to the ones that I bought from Ricambio - albeit a lot cheaper (there wasn't much on Ebay a year ago).

If you take a look at my website documenting the restoration of our camper (Connie) http://www.fiat900t.co.uk/?u=81&p=Welding you can see how the welders used them (I entrusted the welding to a local firm as my skills don't stretch to welding).

As you can see from the photo's the match wasn't perfect and they had to do a bit of chopping to make them fit. If you go to my 'body & paint' page http://www.fiat900t.co.uk/?u=83&p=Body-and-Paint and scroll towards the bottom you can see where I've filled in the 'join' and the end result painted up. Even I can't see the join and I'm very happy with the overall finish.

If you are paying someone to do the welding it may work out cheaper to get complete doors. Peter (Bluebell restoration) had much better luck getting new panels than I did and may be able to point you in the direction of where he got his from.

Hope this helps.

I got lucky and a seller on eBay Italia called Ilsorpasso Ricambi sold me (very expensively)? virtually every panel I needed, including a new driver's door. Rear arches are rare and there are variations of the engine support panel. Most panels seem interchangeable, even between 600t,850,900t and e. But obviously the front differs with the headlights. Lots of types of sills and although I bought the cheapest with no swage line, they fit perfectly. I will have two window surround panels left over so if anyone needs those I will sell. I also have my raggy drivers door and tailgate, which I'm not dumping.
I haven't fitted the door repair panel yet but it isn't great. The section that follows the wheelarch curve is tacked rather than fully welded.

Thanks for the reply guys. I've ordered the door repair panels.
My brother is a excellent fabricator/ welder and will be doing that side of things.
He's currently restoring a car and his attention to detail is stunning. Though he tends to be on the slow side. The very, extremely slow side............

Thing I'll order these too. I'm guessing they are correct for the rear corners?
The inners are gone too but bro reckons he can make those easily!

They look the right ones.
The inner bits are straight forward as its all basically flat box section.

One tip. Once you have them welded up check for the drain holes. On Connie these were lost and I noticed water wasn't draining away (from the inside, exhaust side). I drilled a couple of holes in both rear quarters near to the seam joins and a good couple of pints of water came out - from the wet sanding of the paint etc.

I'll 'flood' the inner sections with Waxoil in due course to offer some future protection on top of the rust proofing that was done before welding up.
