Took delivery of a new 500x Etorq a couple of weeks ago , Done about 800 miles . Put fuel in the tank 3 times but after the first two the gauge does not go below the half full indicator even tho there is very much less than half full tank. The range indicator is stuck on 124/5.
Anyone else had a similar problem., or more importantly a fix .

There was a thread in 2015 but it went off topic and has not been picked up since.

(The only car I have ever had which showed a similar issue was a Strada in 1980, and that was caused by a loose baffle in the fuel tank fouling the float . Took a long while to find that one)

Apparently this is not an issue. (I have been advised !)

I would dare to say it IS an issue. If you can't rely on the fuel gauge or the trip computer how do you avoid running out. It's standard equipment it should work. Can you try a different dealer?

If it's within 30 days of purchase, tell the supplying dealer it is not fit for purpose and you are rejecting it.

Its the 123 which I didnt understand

Hi there

I think that '123' is just a graphic to show the current mileage screen. If you press right in the steering wheel control that centre screen on the dash will cycle to the real range / trip etc

I must admit I originally expected it to alter but it's just a static image.
