I don't expect free updates but when you buy a new car from a dealer you expect the maps to be up to date. my KIA was updated for free at the first service but by that time the car was 1 year old and the maps were 4 years old before they were updated which is petty poor on a car which cost £30,000+ in my view.
I have no problem paying tomtom for updates as a built in satnav has advantages over the ones that take up space on your window and advertises that your probably a tourist.

I make that 2014 4th Quarter, loaded onto unit 23rd July 2015

Not that it is any way relevant but my software version seems to be slightly more recent than yours too, but then mine had been in the garage recently and they may have updated it

I will call them on Monday and see what they say
