I have another post regarding my 500X's Traction Plus not locking the slipping wheel.
Today roads wet I thought I would safely test other aspects of the ABS system.
Quick take off - wheels spin - no wheel braking by ABS - no flashing ABS dash light
Delibrate slide (aggressive drive on empty roundabout) - no flashing ABS/Stability/Anti... light
Now the ABS system was tested (as in looking for errors) and a software update (no details) applied but it look like there is still an issue lurking.
Any brave 500X owners will to try to see if they can get their 500X to instigate expected ABS system intervention actions?
In now over a year of driving I've not seen/felt any of the 500X's ABS related systems kick in. However on all my other Fiats I've had with this sort of function (Coupe, Punto HGT, Stilo Abarth, Croma) these would occasionally kick in when required.
