I bought the 500X Pop Star Multi Air in January, but the air conditioning is odd - anyone else had this? It has the dual zone climate control, but on the lowest setting 'Lo' it still gives out slightly warmed air, and certainly not the usually cooled air expected from air conditioning. I now find that it is best on any journey to set it at 16 degrees, with the air con off and allowing air in from the outside, to get any semblance of cool air from the vents. Certainly not what I expected. Can anyone tell me if theirs works better than this, so I have some levereage with my dealership, as they say it's all set correctly! Thanks.

Just in mine now.
16 degrees outside temp, with the setting at low it is very noticeably cold.
In fact, it's cold to the point it is too painful to leave my hand over the vent for more than 20 seconds or so. ImageUploadedByFIAT Forum1462387224.462163.jpg

From what you have described is sounds as though your aircon system has a problem.

Most probably the vane/flap that proportions the chilled air and warm air is not operating correctly.

Aircon systems on full chill should deliver air of around 6deg.C to 10deg.C. No lower as the system will ice up. In the same vane if the outside temperature is below 6deg.C/10deg.C then the system stop cooling.

It could be that your cars external temperature sensor is malfunctioning.

Doesn't seem to matter - have tried it when cold outside and/or warm......

That's what I long for! Thanks for that - will keep for reference when I go into dealership.

Thanks for the info - will suggest these possibilities to dealership too.
