Car went to dealer today to investigate exhaust rattle that I thought was coming from the rear? Turns out it was the front exhaust mount making the noise! Dealer contacted Fiat Technical Dept who advised greasing the mount. Have been told to monitor and if the rattle comes back it would be replaced. Car is nice and quiet now . Other fault was the 500 seat logo peeling away from drivers seat, Fiat agree it should be replaced under warranty so waiting for seat cover to arrive? On a side note I have a dashcam fitted and it recorded everything that happened when the ignition was left on so I got to see two test drives looking for the rattle, work going on in the workshop and even the car being washed. I don't think the mechanics knew as I heard him singing and commenting on the good throttle response! They also did a couple of updates on the Ecu,radio and aircon. Well pleased with work done.

Thanks for sharing. My experience is that service departments are keen to get any issues with 500x's fixed asap.

I am looking at getting a dash cam, what one did you fit and where did you power from.
Thanks

Hi the Mechanic told me they were happy to have any faults reported even if they seemed trivial as they wanted to build up a history of problems and report to Fiat to avoid anything becoming a big problem at a later stage. I got a dashcam (a cheapy) off eBay prior to buying an expensive one but this one is so good I can't see the point of buying one from Halfords etc. £10 with a little flip down screen takes an sd card and powers from power socket, I just ran the lead behind trim glovebox and windscreen trim up to mirror. Left plugged in as power is only live with ignition, records on a loop so fit and forget. Sits just below the mirror nice and small when screen is closed.
