Hello there guys. Im Greg and i live in Greece. I have a Fiat Punto 2012 model diesel and im changing it with the new Fiat 500x Cross Plus 1.6 diesel.

i really like both cars but i think the new 500x is a really good car. I drove it many times and they gave me a full day with it all alone to test it!

Im adding the sunroof(950 euros),the hifi beats(450 euros) and the navi plus 6.5 system(1000 euros).
From safety pack i would like to add the camera but they only provide it with the full safety package and they charge it 1000 euros so i wont do that.

Cross Plus edition comes with bulit in internal ambient lighting and i cant find what exactly they mean by ambient lighting so i wonder if anyone of you guys know what exactly is this. Pics would help very much cuz i didnt find anything on google.. Thank you very much.

Nice choice of spec.

Ambient lighting is basically soft lighting in the footwell area of the car, both driver and passenger sides.

hello and thanks for your answer. Only there right? I thought it would have some ambient lighting in tha dashboard or the doors....Anyway. Hopefully i will find a picture to see how it looks like cuz i cant wait 45-60 days in order to get it!

45-60 days? Well I hope your experience will be better than mine. The one I ordered was so delayed that I had to change colour!! Ordered end of February, delivery expected in July.... Happy with the one I chose from the dealership in the end. By the way, Fiat factories in Italy are not closing in August (not anymore). At the Melfi plant have just recruited extra staff to keep up with the demand

What's the point of staying open if they don't have the parts?

I ordered a 1.4 cross plus in white with nav pack, safety pack, visibility pack, winter pack and heated seats

Ordered 6 weeks ago now - fiat can't tell me when the winter pack parts will be in or have any idea when I can expect delivery

Total jokers - same old fiat rubbish same old fiat lack of customer service

the dealer im buying ordered like 7-8 500x's and all came to greece mostly 45 days after the order so i guess it will continue be like this

You'll be ok you've not gone for the winter pack

The more you pay the less they care about keeping you happy!!

its an expensive car..i would love have the safety and visibility pack but the price goes very high for me.

Anyone got any photos of the ambient lighting they say they offer standard in cross plus edition? thank you

My 1.6 lounge ordered 10 weeks ago, not built yet production delayed due to ordering\wanting the Winter pack, next update from dealer 2 weeks time..........

8 weeks and still no date for build

Same as previous user no winter packs - complained to fiat and basically they don't give a s@@t
Apparently they couldn't see the demand for winter packs

Bunch of absolute idiots with no idea how to treat customers

Even my dealer has had enough of no updates

The factory is not closing in August... And yes, Fiat seriously underestimated the demand for this car and packs...

Finally kicked off enough today to get someone from Fiat in Italy to phone me
Factory is still closing down for the 1st 2 weeks in August they know there is a backlog, however due to working regulations and the way the unions work fiat cannot keep the factory open for production

They are getting the parts in but don't know when or if the quantity is enough
No updates until the end of this month

No cars with the winter pack likely to be in the UK until September

They did apologise but it's all a bit too late really
