I've seen the 500L driven by a variation of people, but there do appear to be quite a high percentage of the Dualogic ones driven by the over 60's, probably on Motability. No harm in that though, it supplies the used market with plenty of decently mainained low mileage examples in a few years - better than a 150,000 rep mobile which looks rough round the edges and paints a negative picture of the brand to people who think it's just a 3 year old car that's worn badly, without even looking at the mileage.
I think with the regular 500 having youth appeal and the L being older, the X should actually sit in between those age ranges and do what Fiat claimed the L would. The best thing they could've done was call the L the Giant Panda, as it appears to fit with a similar catergory of buyers to the Panda and has styling that's got more in common with the Panda than the 500, but what's done is done and I look forward to seeing the X in the metal. It looks very decent to me.
Agree re the Punto though, they've dropped a bollock there.
