Hey guys, I'm just looking for some advice, as my partner's 500L has developed an annoying niggle with its driver's seat.

When pulling away from a stop and when braking, the seat moves a tiny amount. It never feels like it's suddenly going to 'let go', but there's always the worry that it might one day, which could be dangerous. It also feels like the movement is coming from the left side of the seat, but when trying to closely examine the mechanism I can't see anything obvious wrong with it.

Has anyone else had issues with the seats?

Currently having the same issue as the OP with my driver's seat; has anyone else experienced anything similar?
(And yes, I do know that the OP is unlikely to reply, since they were last seen several years ago....)
The 500L uses the same seat base/frame as the Grande Punto (Evo) Vauxhall corsa etc it’s not something I have ever really heard of before, but if in the same position I would disconnect the battery unbolt the seat and then have a propper look at the runners to make sure there is nothing stuck in there like a McDonald’s chip from 3 years ago

Now fixed - you were close with the chip idea; turned out to be a mangled Mr Kipling(?) cake foil tray jammed inside the mechanism!
