Hello all,

I have a 2014 FIAT 500L Twinair turbo engine (1.4L I think) and am really having trouble finding routine maintenance guides. I am used to working on my Honda which is worlds apart from this engine it seems. I am looking for how to take off the engine cover to start. I know it is basic but I don't want to damage anything. Then I am looking at changing spark plugs and the engine light came on just this week. Pretty sure I will have to go to the dealer for the check engine but what can you all recommend?

Thanks in advance.

Hi, :)
the US versions of "the same vehicle" tend to differ in substantial ways.., so I will not give any specifics.

the Twinair tends to be an 875cc Two cylinder,
the Multiair tends to be a 1400cc , 4 cylinder

look in the GUIDES for the 500 (euro), and Punto(2008 onwards)

for the basics , and you can see what appears similar.

for engine diagnostics ;
IF you just want basic functionality I can recommend this;

for Italian specific use , this is a FAR MORE worthwhile investment;
