Hi, I have a 2014 Fiat 500 L . Today while driving , the car suddenly started taking forever to accelerate. Once it got past 15 mph it was fine but struggled to get there. Any idea what could be wrong ? It was less than 50,000 miles and the engine light is not one.

I have a warranty but I'm uncertain of how big the issue is.

OK- to maybe simplify.. Petrol or diesel ..?

does it do it regularly.. ? or just on occasions,

better when cold / hot..,

It's not a diesel engine. This is the 1st issue it has caused me. It runs perfectly all the time.

It just happened out of the blue.

Hi,
there isn't an obvious easy fix..,
so if it's happened more than once , it's worth returning to dealer

if it's a single incident.., they may have problems replicating it ..to know what to fix

There was a problem featured on watchdog where the 1.2 500's eu6, were a little too efficient to produce any power. There was a ecu software fix.
