Hello 500L enthusiasts,

My name is Michel from The Netherlands and i am new to this forum. I really like all the posts.
I own a new 2015 500L Twinair in the Cappuccino (Beige) colour. I had a Panda Twinair before the 500L, and i must say i love the Twinair!
In Holland we had a Panda forum where i posted some messages, and was able to answer some questions from other Fiat (Panda) enthusiasts.
Now i have a question of my own.
Does anyone on this forum have experience with the original Fiat sun screens?
The partnumbers are 71806615, 71806616 and 71806617. I would like to know if they really fit as well as the manufacturer states in the accessories guide. They are not cheap, but if they fit perfectly without any nasty clips visible on the outside, i don't mind to purchase them.
So if anyone can give me some experience, advice or tips on this, i will be very pleased with that.

Thanks in advance!

Greetzzz from The Netherlands,
Michel.

No experience with the original Fiat sunscreens at those prices, sorry.

Have zoomed in as best I can to see how they are fitted and I cannot see anything that will look "nasty". I must admit they do look a very good fit.

Personally I will save myself a few quid if I decide on getting sunscreens and just buy some suction ones to stick on the window. Not as good I know but for the price difference I can live with a bit of bright sun coming through (when we get it)

I am inclined to agree, in fact we are even bigger cheapskates and the ones we have were free from kiddicare and came with the car seat we bought for our granddaughter!

It is difficult to tell from the pics. but those genuine ones do look a nice neat fit though.

Thanks for your replies!

I think you are right. The price compared to the product is out of proportion. And certainly not worth taking the risk of a big disappointment.
If you search the internet, there are plenty of other sun screens available for 1/3 of the price. I think the value for money is way better in this case.
I will keep you informed of the choice!

Thanks again!
Regards,
Michel.

There are very few pictures around.
Have anybody seen pictures of these fitted?

I've seen these pictures already.
All the dealers use the same.

I don't want to use 80£ until i have some more information..

Hi all!

Did not buy the screens. I have the Johnson window films applied on the rear windows instead.
Better quality for the price, and looks nice on the car also.

Thanks for your replies!

Looks very good, did you apply them yourself?
I already have the Fiat option ,dark tinted rear windows, but they aren't that dark

Hi Dennis,

No, i had them applied at a car window specialist. It is the 5% version. The most common and option ones are 35%.
In the car it is not as dark as you might expect. But it really keeps the sun out!

Regards,
Michel.

I brought a pre reg Lounge and fitted screens, the ones on the doors are fixed by three clips under window rubber you can still open the windows. 1/4 and tailgate are held by the interior trim very snug and neat looking from outside and inside. But are expensive, will be at Stamford Hall if anyone wants to look at them?

Cool,
Original Fiat screens?

It's a bit too far for me to go to Stamford:p So if you have the time, can you take some pictures?
