I've now ordered my 500L, I am very happy!

Discount was around £1710 in all, hope that is decent. If you post you ordered one for £500 less I will cry

That doesn't sound too bad a discount for a pre-order on a new car.

Did they give you any idea when you might get it?

Dealers are getting RHD test drive cars in on the weekend of March 16th for the UK launch.

This means FIAT already has RHD cars in production and hopefully the wait will be 3 months but that is not definite yet.

Realistic estimate is late May early June.

My dealer has 4 pre orders now.

Do they offer the Bi-Xenon HIDs on the 500L like they do the 500

The dealers can only order what's on the configurator atm so that means no leather or Xenon atm, luckily no problem for me. They don't have much info from FIAT. Hopefully something I want doesn't get updated to the configurator

I might get osram night breakers for the lights, already have some bnib in H4 so maybe they will do.. But probably wait until the OEM bulbs fail.

Xenons cost an absolute fortune to replace so you are probably better off without them.

Xenons are about £25 for a set of nightbreakers etc.

Yet HIDs last 10-15 times longer than filament bulbs, which means........they're cheaper in the long run :idea:

I had the Bravo for 4 yrs 53000 miles and it only ever popped one side repeater bulb, cost 98p on the MOT at the dealer which they waived. So I guess both types are fairly cheap to keep in lights
